Main Scientific efforts: The application of the many-body theory to the structure and processes with atoms, ions, atomic clusters and nanoparticles. The many-electron effects in the electron scattering and photoionisation of neutral atoms, positive and negative ions, atomic clusters and fullerenes. Quantum phenomena in one-dimensional conductance – silicon quantum wires.
